Adult Enrichment Session/ Math & English

Service Description

The adult enrichment tutoring session is tailored to fit the needs of adults who desire to increase their knowledge and to hone their understanding in the subject areas of English and math. For adults, the English session covers the rules and mechanics of grammar; constructing grammatically correct sentence patterns; interactive, instruction guided activities to reinforce the learning process; and exposure to the elements of writing. In the math session, the tutor shall build on the individual's current knowledge of the subject. The math session shall address the individual's weaknesses that require strengthening. Also, the tutor shall review mathematical operations, conduct interactive exercises that align with the individual's learning ability, and sessions shall be self-paced.
